ROBERT C. LYLES
Robert Lyles Jr. founder and president, has specialized in custom home development for over two decades in such exclusive coastal communities as Windsor and John’s Island in Vero Beach, Florida and Santa Rosa Beach in Florida’s panhandle. A season professional with a degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida and a certified General Contractor’s License from the state of Florida, Lyles has also spearheaded the development of multi-million dollar commercial properties, historical renovations and numerous commercial renovations throughout the course of his career.
Vice President of Operations at RCL, Alex Wells has been working in Luxury Construction as a Project Manager for over 10 years. Alex holds a Master’s Degree in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Design from Penn State. Since graduating from The University of Denver, Alex has worked on large commercial projects for the Federal Government in San Diego along with managing the construction of multiple luxury ski residences in the Big Sky, Montana area. In the first quarter of 2020, Alex and his family of four moved from Bozeman, Montana to Vero Beach. Since relocating to Vero Beach Alex has successfully managed several high-end renovations and new builds. Alex brings a wealth of knowledge, and a fresh perspective to RCL Development along with strong communication skills, and leadership. Alex has set forth intentions to support field supervision, improve processes and maximize efficiency across all RCL Development’s current and future projects.
Vice President, Emerald Coast Division
James Boykin has a multi-faceted and extensive history in the building and construction industry, spanning thirty years. He has worked with internationally renowned firms helming prestigious projects and been sought out independently for consulting roles over his tenure. Boykin has been the point person on several well-known projects – he has served as a prime contractor for Rosemary Beach, building and renovating homes and heading up commercial development and constructing spaces. From Windsor to Grand Harbor and more, Boykin has developed subdivisions, superintended and constructed a multitude of high-end homes, rough shaped golf courses, built several restaurants and managed and maintained the delicate budgets of each project with precision and finesse.
VP of Marketing, Emerald Coast Division
Steven Kueny has a long and distinguished career in marketing, spanning several industries to give a wide range of capabilities.
With over 20 years of experience and having also served in the U.S. Air Force, Kueny specializes in creating effective marketing strategies, service programs, client relations, and management of subcontracting.
Kim Edelmann, Controller of RCL Development in Vero Beach, Florida has 20 years of experience in accounting and related fields. Kim received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of South Florida in Accounting. Prior to RCL, Kim served as Payroll Manager at Seald Sweet Growers where she also held Staff Accountant and Assistant Human Resource Manager positions. In South Florida, she worked as a Branch Manager for Household Finance.
In March of 2001, Kim joined RCL Development. She is responsible for all aspects of the office: general and job cost accounting, financial reporting, contract administration, construction bids, human resources, office management and assisting the President.

Our south Florida location, located in idyllic Vero Beach, is renowned for our cutting-edge craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail and careful management of time and budget.
Our Treasure Coast division is primarily recognized for the award-winning work in Vero Beach. RCL has built and renovated over 60 homes in the exclusive Windsor community, more than 30 in the prestigious John’s Island community, as well as multiple high-end homes on the gorgeous Barrier Island of within Indian River County.
From Miami to Orlando, our team has worked in almost every style and facet of the industry, working directly with our homeowners to realize their vision – ensuring they are with us each step of the way.

Our north Florida location, concentrates on the Emerald Coast, where our team has built and renovated homes and iconic landmarks alike – such as the Barbados and Coquina pools. We’ve had the privilege of maximizing gorgeous inlet views and building oceanfront retreats in the Rosemary Beach communities, Seaside and Alys Beach.
